Waterborne silicone modified hydroxyl acrylic dispersion WL-158
low-VOC waterborne polyurethane paints can be formulated that are
the equal of solventborne polyurethane paints when used on metal.
These coatings are two-component waterborne polyurethanes
consisting of a waterborne polyacrylate with a water-dispersible
polyisocyanate. The waterborne polyurethane coatings show results
equal to, or better than, standard solventborne polyurethane
coatings in hardness, impact resistance and solvent resistance. In
addition, these waterborne polyurethane coatings show accelerated
weathering results that are the equal of standard solventborne
polyurethane coatings. Waterborne polyurethane coatings exhibit the
best combination of properties and can be used to replace the
standard solventborne polyurethane tested.

3, Product Properties:
Self emulsifying process, emulsifier free.
Excellent shear stability, can be grinded with dispersions
directly.
Good gloss, high film thickness without blister.
Excellent weather resistance, water resistance and aging
resistance.
4, Instructions:
WL-158 can be diluted with deionized water to construction
viscosity. The resin can help to wet pigments, so wetting agent may
reduce PH value of the coating system can always be adjusted by N.
N-dimthylethanolamine, viscosity of the dispersion will increase as
the PH value increases
WL-158 can be mixed with poly aliphatic isocyanate curing agent for
preparing high-gloss top coating which can dry fast at room
temperature or dry by force at 80"C. The activation period is about
3 hours if it is used with BAYHYDUR 304(NCO/OH=1. 4/1.0).
Construction equipments can be cleaned by water, alkaline detergent
or water soluble solvent.
5, Storage:
It is suggested that the product should be stored in a cool and dry
weak alkaline place. The quality guarantee period is 6 months, and
the expired products can still be used after passing the
inspections.
6, Applications:
2KPU self-drying top coatings and amino-baking top coatings.
