Water based acrylic modified alkyd resin
Introduction
Water based alkyd resin WL-370 is water -borne acrylic modified
alkyd resin, which is mainly used for manufacturing water-borne
self-drying paint or low-temperature baking paint.

PH value(1 to 1 to water):8-10
Viscosity(25℃): ≥5000mpa.s (rotational viscometer)
Feature
Outstanding cost performance, excellent dryness, hardness, gloss,
initial water resistance, salt spray resistance, adhesion, weather
resistance, constructability.
Excellent shear stability, helps to wet pigments, directly
participate in the grinding of pigment paste.
It is stable under weak alkaline condition, and will settle into
layers under acidic condition, pay attention to adjust the PH value
when adding acid pigments.
It is recommended to use deionized water for dilution, and the PH
value of the system should be noted during dilution.
The viscosity of aqueous dispersion will increase with the increase
of PH value and cosolvent.
Application
Mainly used for metal surface corrosion and rust prevention and
decoration, is substitute for solvent based alkyd systems,
including steel structure, crane, auto parts, plate spring, frame,
axle, gearbox, brake pads, drive shaft, vehicle chassis parts,
electrical machinery, cylinders, pumps, engineering machinery,
hardware tools, containers, railway locomotive, agricultural
machinery, elevator accessories, oil pipelines, transformer,
radiator, valves and other metal products primer, topcoat and one
coat paint.
Usage
The addition of drier(our company has supporting drier product, it
is recommended to add 4-8% of the amount of resin),can accelerate
oxidation crosslinking.
Adding drier to the original resin and mix, then adding water to
dilute it, can achieve better fineness and gloss (oil drier can use
BCS, DPM, and other solvents 1 to 1-10 diluted and then add the
original resin).
It can be used in combination with water -borne epoxy ester resin,
water –borne acrylic resin, water-borne alkyd resin and self-drying
emulsion.

Place in a cool ventilated place,keep container tightly closed.
Storage temperature is 0-40℃.
The quality guarantee period of this product is 12 months since the
